Drying systems
After mass finishing, the workpieces are usually damp or wet and must be reliably dried afterwards to prevent corrosion and residues. Different drying systems are used depending on the material, shape and properties of the components – including granulate dryers for sensitive workpieces or hot air dryers for sensitive and complex geometries. Selecting the right drying process is crucial for a perfect end result.
Roundtub driers VAT
Our VAT circular tray dryers are equipped with a direct heating system that ensures particularly uniform and energy-efficient heating. The extended sieving section ensures that all workpieces are reliably freed from pellet residues. Due to the opposite arrangement of infeed and discharge, VAT dryers can be optimally integrated into linear production lines – ideal for automated operation.
Roundtub driers SVT
Roundtub driers are ideal for medium-sized, sensitive components and batch processing. They are robust, low-maintenance and versatile – from deburring and edge rounding to pressure polishing of a wide variety of materials.
Belt driers BT
Our BT continuous belt dryers use hot air for contactless drying of workpieces. The continuous belt flow ensures a uniform, gentle drying process, completely without granulate. This means that even complex geometries or hard-to-reach areas remain free of drying media.
Hot air centrifuges HLZ
Type HLZ hot air centrifuges offer a safe solution for drying small batches or individual, sensitive workpieces. The rotating movement in combination with hot air prevents residues and ensures a fast, uniform drying result – without mixing the workpiece. This process is particularly suitable for components for which granulate drying is not an option.
