Polishing media

Polishing media are used when particularly high-quality, shiny surfaces are required – for example, for decorative metals, precision parts or components with high optical requirements. The desired surface finish is achieved by compacting the material in combination with the parallel use of polishing pastes or powders. Polishing media are non-abrasive, therefore exhibit minimal self-abrasion and are gentle on the workpieces. They are characterised by high acid and chemical resistance and are available in various shapes.
